Now other players like radio Antenne Bayern competes with its own format “Lautgut – nimm dir Hörzeit”. As to the Bavarian broadcast almost one third of the Germans already listens to podcasts. The number is rising and the format is beginning to establish oneself also by advancing its usability. Google Pod-casts recently published an extended search option. Now you can search for episodes by typing in keywords instead of knowing the name of it.
With our daily lifes becoming more mobile than ever, the way we consume content changes as well. Podcasts offer a handy alternative comparing other formats. You can listen to them anywhere, anytime. And sharing an episode is easy. If the growth of Podcasts continues is to be shown. But one thing is sure: audio is becoming more and more important and established again.
